Debra catches up with Loredana Vivera of Vivera winery, located in Sicily, Italy. Loredana explains that they have two domains – one near Mt Etna and the other in the village of Corleone. She discusses the beauty of the region and its wines, olives and produce, as well as the challenges of winemaking. They chat about the climate and environment of Sicily and the common conceptions most people have about Sicilian wines, and how the wines have really evolved over the past few years. Loredana explains how the grape variety Nerello Cappuccio got its name, and finishes by detailing what she feels are the biggest challenges of winemaking.
