Rosé di Martinella Etna Rosato doc is a wine of notable minerality, which recalls the characteristics of the lava soil. But it is also much more: the aromas are delicate, not at all intrusive, with notes of pomegranate and raspberry, peach and banana. In the mouth we must not expect only minerality, but structure and softness that comes from a rosé made with only Nerello Mascalese. So the tannins, typical of this variety, are present and gives it a structure out of the ordinary for a rosé, making it an excellent table wine, an important wine that can express even more with bottle aging. The grapes all come from the Martinella zone, a contrada wine, from a single vineyard. It was maded by maceration on the skins in vacuum press and then vinified like a white.
